What our vendor scores mean

Our scores measure how much decision-useful information we found in the official pages reviewed. They do not measure clinical outcomes, service quality, customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, or return on investment.

A score you can inspect

Each check is worth one point. A dimension score is the proportion of its checks supported by a source, multiplied by five. The overall score uses all checks equally, rather than averaging rounded dimension scores. A low score can reflect limited published information or limited access during our review; it does not establish that a vendor lacks a capability.

Profiles need at least three sourced facts from at least two reviewed official pages before receiving a numerical score. Otherwise they show “Research limited.” We do not fill missing prices with estimates or copy another directory’s ratings.

Value needs your own numbers

“Value assessability” measures whether you can evaluate an offer, not whether it is cheap or will pay for itself. Compare the complete cost for your users, locations, hardware, usage, implementation, and exit. Buyer-fit notes and trade-offs are editorial analysis based on cited information, not hands-on testing or a promise of results.

Sources and limitations

Sources are vendor statements, not independent verification of performance. Dates describe our review, not a guarantee that terms remain unchanged. “Not found in reviewed pages” is narrower than “not offered.” Conflicting statements are retained as questions for the vendor. Compliance claims must be confirmed with the actual agreement and your qualified advisers. Rankings compare information coverage; compare vendors within a relevant category and buying brief.
